Business with Social media
We all know about the Social Media and its uses in business. We can use it as a medium of marketing. It is very fast and great way; now tell me, do you know about that or not?
I will tell you about social media and its network. Social media is a network for providing a connection between humans, business, customers. As my knowledge in today’s world everyone is connected with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.). so on Social Network Business Personalities can connect with each other or they can also connect with customers.
Mainly business have two type: B2B and B2C
Business to Business:
Business to Business network. In this type, business personalities perform a business transaction with another business person. It means two or more than two business connects with each other. Like a raw material supplier, supply his goods to a factory for money.
Business to Customer:
Business to the customer network. In this type, if you are a business man then you are directly connecting with the customer or consumer. Like you are a medical shop owner and you can sell drugs direct to that’s consumer. So it is a B2C.
Both pattern of the business need of E-marketing.
It means Social media is mostly used by the B2B pattern of business because Social media is 86% used by B2B and 82% is used by B2C.
But B2B firms aren’t as active in their social media activity. Only 32% engage on a daily basis. Compared with 52% of B2C firms.
If we notice all ratios and calculations B2B spending on interactive marketing is forecast to double in the next 5 years.
“Do develop a vision and defines goals for social media” Do begin to explore social media tools. Don’t replace established online marketing with social media. Don’t look at social media as a standalone marketing tool”.
Ratio comparison between B2B and B2C:
- 36% of B2B companies surveyed said there was low executive interest in social media in their firm, compared with 9% of B2C marketers who said the same
- 46% of B2B respondents said social media was perceived as irrelevant to their company, while only 12% of B2C firms reported the same problems
- 60% of B2B firms reported they have no staff dedicated to social media, compared with 54% of B2C companies with no dedicated social media staff
- 10% of B2B firms use outside agencies or social media consultants, compared with 28% of B2C firms
Now I think social media is mostly used by B2B connectivity. Because if we notice all ratios of marketing values of both (B2B & B2C), then we can see who is a real user of social media for marketing.
